Hoisin Potatoes

PRE SET OVEN TO 180°C BAKE FOR APPROX 30 MINS

Ingredients

Potatoes - 20

Pepper - 1 red 1 yellow, chopped

Chilli - red or green

Ginger - 1 tbs

Garlic - 1 tbs

Soy sauce - 1.5 tbs

Spring onions - 3/4 chopped

Sesame oil - 1 tbs

Hoisin - 2 tbs

Siriacha- 1 tbs

Sesame seeds - to garnish


Method

  1. Boil Potatoes in water until soft.

  2. Drain and allow to cool down.

  3. Crush Potatoes with your hand and bake in the oven until crispy.

  4. Heat Sesame oil in a large frying pan, add the peppers, ginger, garlic and spring onions. Cook for a couple of minutes.

  5. Add in the soy sauce, Sirachi and fresh chilli and cook for a few more minutes.

  6. Transfer the Potatoes to the pan and stir in the hoisin sauce trying not to break up the potatoes too much.

  7. Combine well, sprinkle with sesame seeds and enjoy 😉
